The Goods and Service Tax (GST), which is an indirect tax on the supply of goods and services which was supposed to bring together state economies and improve the overall economic growth of the nation has crossed its revenue in November of the month more than 1 lakh crore.
According to the sources, in the month of July, it was 1.2 lakh crore which apparently indicates 6% of tremendous growth in just three months and now it has crossed 1.3 lakh crore.
CGST is 19,572 crore rupees, SGST 27,134 crore, IGST 49,027 crore and Cess 7,727 crore rupees.
